Future Focus addresses the influence marketing plays in sparking climate action

Future Focus was proud to host ‘Advertising the climate: Turning traditional marketing on its head to mobilise action’ as part of #ClimateActionWeekSydney. The event brought together changemakers, marketers, and climate advocates to explore how communication can drive – or stall – climate action.

The interactive session examined key marketing and advertising principles, reframing them for climate outcomes. Through research insights, small-group discussions, and hands-on exercises, attendees gained practical tools to craft climate messaging that resonates – whether in boardrooms, policy discussions, or grassroots movements. The session highlighted how behavioural science and strategic messaging can mobilise people at scale, transforming traditional marketing into a force for good.

Future Focus remains committed to advancing conversations that turn insight into impact. Stay tuned for more events as we continue to explore the intersection of strategy, communication, and climate action.
